3 yr old conversations....

Now that Princess and BooBear are sharing a room on account of the twins, it is funny to sometimes listen to their morning conversations.  They tend to stay in the room just sitting on their bed chatting across the room until they hear the first daycare client show up.  Well this morning was no different...

I hear Boo ask, "so what are you gonna wear today?"
Princess, "I think I wanna wear a dress!"
Boo, "When I am a girl I will where a dress someday."
Princess, "You are not a girl, you will be a boy forEVER!"
Boo, "Someday."
Princess, "I don't think we should talk about this any more."

It is too funny to hear what they have swimming around in their heads!

Happy Blogoversary!!!!

It was three years ago today that I started this blog...crazy to think that at that time I had a 7 month old and a 4 month old!  Now three years later they are three and we have 4 1/2 month old twin girls staying with us for a while...how long?  We are unsure...if they get to stay forever we would be more than happy!

Thank you to each and every one of you that faithfully read the blog...I am still working on the whole picture thing...not getting many answers though!

Have a great day!

You Are God Alone

We sang this great song in church yesterday and the words are great!

You are not a god
Created by human hands
You are not a god
Dependant on any mortal man
You are not a god
In need of anything we can give
By Your plan, that's just the way it is

You are God alone
From before time began
You were on Your throne
Your are God alone
And right now
In the good times and bad
You are on Your throne
You are God alone

You're the only God
Whose power none can contend
You're the only God
Whose name and praise will never end
You're the only God
Who's worthy of everything we can give
You are God  alone
And that's just the way it is

You are God alone
From before time began
You were on Your throne
Your are God alone
And right now
In the good times and bad
You are on Your throne
You are God alone

Unchangeable
Unshakable
Unstoppable
That's what You are

Unchangeable
Unshakable
Unstoppable
That's what You are

You are God alone
From before time began
You were on Your throne
Your are God alone
And right now
In the good times and bad
You are on Your throne
You are God alone

Thankful Thursday

So it is that day of the week again, that day that I try to set aside to be Thankful in Everything...

Today, I am thankful for a husband to loves and cares...
I am thankful for my two children that get excited when I come home from even half an hour away...
I am thankful for our two foster girls that Handsome brought into our room smiling at 6:30 this morning...
I am thankful for friends who want to be a part of your life...
I am thankful for the Bible Study we started in our home two weeks ago...
I am thankful for Salvation...
I am thankful for my wonderful Seester...
I am thankful for parents who want to be around and involved in our lives...
I am thankful for a roof over our head (though am praying for a little bigger one for daycare)...
I am thankful for being over the 40 lbs mark...
I am thankful for the beauty of Spring...

It doesn't take long to be able to think of gripes we have with our life, troubles at work, not enough money, not enough time, wishing you had more friends....blah blah blah....we've been there.  We ARE there!  But it is good for a person to dwell on good things....Philippeans 4:8 says so, it took me only the time to type the "I am thankful for" be be able to come up with my next one, that list could be 5X longer EASY!

But I will spare you...my challege, sit down for five minutes and think of the thinks you can be thankful for and than thank Him for them!  I dare you!

♫ Your Hands by JJ Heller ♫

I have unanswered prayers

I have trouble I wish wasn't there

And I have asked a thousand ways

That You would take my pain away

That You would take my pain away

I am trying to understand

How to walk this weary land

Make straight the paths that crookedly lie

Oh Lord, before these feet of mine

Oh Lord, before these feet of mine

When my world is shaking

Heaven stands

When my heart is breaking

I never leave Your hands

When You walked upon the Earth

You healed the broken, lost, and hurt

I know You hate to see me cry

One day You will set all things right

Yea, one day You will set all things right

When my world is shaking

Heaven stands

When my heart is breaking

I never leave Your hands

Your hands

Your hands that shape the world

Are holding me, they hold me still

Your hands that shape the world

Are holding me, they hold me still

When my world is shaking

Heaven stands

When my heart is breaking

I never leave You when...

When my world is shaking

Heaven stands

When my heart is breaking

I never leave...

I never leave Your hands

A new journey...

So on top of the fact that I have not been able to post pictures on my blog we have added a new 'hat' to our collection.  We currently are a temporary family of six!  Last Wednesday I went to a hospital about 50 miles away and brought home 4 month old twin girls.  It has been fun, it has been tiring, it has been special, and it has been good and hard on our two!  Of course, at this point they are with us as foster girls...but if any of you know us you know that if they had the option of staying in our home forever we would not be able to say 'YES' fast enough!

At this point we know really, nothing, about them...we have not received any information about birth parents or anything.  They had their 4 month check up/immunizations last Friday (my husbands birthday) and we didn't even get info about how that went!  But, at this point they are seemingly thriving in our home.  The bigger one we will call Miss 'Tude has gained at least three pounds this week just getting regular feedings and a little love and attention.  The small one we will call EskiMo...she is much smaller than her sister and is having a tough time with regular feedings and constipation.  We look forward to getting to know these girls and having them with us for how ever long they will stay!

But please bear with me as I am now a Mama of four (even if only temporary) and still providing daycare...
