An Ethan update! Some of you may know, but most of you probably do not. While in Sioux Falls Ethan starting "getting better" meaning he started taking steps, regaining speech, getting his color back, and being responsive.
This was very exciting to us, but we were scared that it may just be another of his "peaks." However it was a key that unlocked something else!
It is official that he has a severe gluten intolerance. It was so bad that it was effecting every aspect of his life. Now we have a special diet for him, and keeping an eye on what sissy feeds him.
But otherwise I will let the pictures speek for themselves. But before going, I do want to personally thank each and every one of you that have prayed for our little boy. Unfortunately we put him through almost 1 1/2 years of poking and proding, but I am thankful that we finally figured it out! Please do continue to pray for us as we are still dangling while waiting on DSS about the adoption and other stuff! Thanks!

It is so nice that you finally have an answer for Ethan's sickness. It's not always fun to have a special diet, but it's so much better than something more serious!!! Happy for you...
Ethan has come a long way! Grandma and Grandpa are thankful for that. We are praying that the new diet will work for him and he will keep getting stronger everyday. All the little things (walking, color back, eating) are just wonderful. He looks so good! We love him so much.
