This happy occassion will finally become a reality on August 1st at 11:30!!! (So mom you can tell people) We met with our wonderful lawyer yesterday afternoon and got the court date scheduled! We are soooooo excited! He will legally be ours, and then I GET to call all the doctors and therapists and tell them to officially change his name! Yeah!You are all invited to the court hearing at 11:30 and we are going to be having an open house from 3:30 - 5:30 pm with a meal at 5:30 or so!!!!
We are so thankful that we are finally at this point and cannot wait until we hear the judge say "petition for adoption, granted!" Of course I won't cry a bit! (heehe)
Feel free to email if you have any questions and let me know if you are able to make it to celebrate with us! Thank you all for your prayers the last few months while we have been "hanging" and not knowing what is going on!

Congratulations! That is wonderful news!!
Yeah! I know how much this means and remember how special the day was with our Ethan! When we were in court yesterday for #2 we witnessed someone else finalizing - it had been an 8 month process for them. It was such a blessing to sit in on that and remember what a beautiful way God has chosen to build our families.

Finally - the special day is a reality!!! How awesome is that!!! We are so happy for you and Ada and Ethan! When the judge says "adoption granted" I know one gramdma that will have a tear or eight!!!
Again, Congrats! God knew who needed to be Ethan's momma and daddy!
Give Ethan a great big hug from gram. And give Ada a hug - cuz now she will have the little brother she has come to know and love FOREVER!!!!
