Our new furniture is finally here! We ordered it on May 26th and it just came today...don't ask! Anyway...I promised some of my family members that I would put pics up since they missed it by a week! This is the new dining table and 6 chairs. It actually has both leaves in it in this picture, we will at least take one of them off for every day, if not both. I love it! It is solid Oak and reminds me of something Pa Ingalls would have made. The hutch is the same brand and slightly different collection. The table is the Rustic Mission collection and the hutch is the Rustic Traditions collection. The glass in the hutch is bubble glass for the old fashion look. The lighting inside it turned on or dimmed by touching the hinges...how fun! I cannot wait to "pretty it up!"
This is our new TV armour. With our kids being ever so active these days it was something we both have wanted for a long time and decided to save Mommy from having to pick up the DVDs every other day...it was time! This if from Ashley Furniture, and almost matches the end table (also Ashley) that we bought with our previous set of furniture!
And now, my flash on my camera has died and so these were very dark pictures that I just adjusted before posting...that is why they do not look as good as the others. This is Jason's beloved reading recliner!
And the matching love seat. He has wanted a leather couch since we had one in Huron and we missed the reclining factor very much. We were going to get the couch, but I thought that it was a waste of money because the middle seat rarely gets used. And besides, if we are both sitting in the reclining ends of a couch we couldn't be close together...this was I can at least hold his hand!
So there it is, the long awaited furniture!
