About 1 1/3 miles from Uncle Laurel and Aunt Wendy's house there is this great
park with a Splash Pad! Ada Grace thought it was the best thing in the world! After the warm time at the Spring Valley Nature Center, it was nice to cool off a bit. Jason and Aunt Wendy sat on the sidelines and watched/took pictures, and I got in on the action with the kids!

The three of us in the middle of the water

I honestly think that Ada Grace had the most fun at this splash park than I have ever seen her have before. Before too long she had "friends" that she made by walking up to them and saying "HI." She also learned that if she dropped her cup, someone would usually pick it up for her, she would say "Thank You" and then she had a new friend! After a while of watching the older kids running around and squealing, she started just running around and having the BEST time of her life. I am glad that we went!

Contemplating what to do next...

I love this picture with her
reflection on the ground.

Another picture of her squealing with happiness!

Catching the water with her cup AND her
tongue
Pouring the water over her head she then said "Mommy, WET!"

Just as happy as can be. She REALLY like this activity.

Ethan did okay for a while, but both pair of his 3-6 month swim trunks were too big and kept falling down...he didn't like that so well.

My bow legged little man seeming to enjoy himself at the moment.

Looks like sissy just poured water over his head.

He spent about half the time hanging out on the bench with Aunt Wendy and Daddy.

Eating the bucket...actually, we was teething while we were there and chewed and drooled on EVERYTHING!

Chatting it up with Aunt Wendy.
BEST PART OF THE SLASH PARK...IT WAS FREE!
